Our Story

It all started when I was 8 years old. My mother installed an old-fashioned telephone with a rotary dial, and soon, I discovered how much fun it was to prank call unsuspecting people. To stop the fun, Mum added a lock to the phone. That was my first encounter with lock picking—using a nail clipper's gunk scraper, I unlocked the phone and continued my mischief.

My fascination with locks deepened as I learned about Harry Houdini. On trips to central London, I’d stand outside a shop under Charing Cross, admiring a set of lock picks. They wouldn’t let me in, but I was captivated by the possibilities of unlocking things with such skill.

Fast forward 20 years, when the internet finally gave me access to a real set of lock picks. I ordered them, and after several frustrating months of dealing with unresponsive suppliers and poor-quality tools, I finally got my hands on the picks. I was hooked.

Over time, I explored more advanced techniques like bump keys. But just like before, I encountered poor service and substandard tools. So I decided to take matters into my own hands—improving bump keys by introducing innovations like removing the shoulder and adding dampeners, something no one else was doing at the time.
