Description

It takes a couple of minutes to cover your favourite pick handles with our custom Heat-Shrink sleeves, which not only makes them more comfortable to use, but will also help protect them, for years to come.

Sold in about 60cm / 2 foot lengths, this is enough for between 30 picks, depending on how you use it. We tried out all the??possible lock pick sleeves so you don't have to - this one is just perfect! Improve your picking with comfort and a better grip.

TIP - Because it's clear, you can put pictures from magazines underneath, protecting your picks in style.

Here's a VIDEO showing how I fix my Heatshrink - you can also do it with a hairdryer or if you're careful, over a hob. But be safe, gloves are a good idea. And start with less heat than more. If you overdo it, it'll tear or burn.

Heat shrink

When I first put the heat shrink onto my pics they felt quite sticky which was a good thing this lasted for a fair while until it cooled right down. It is a little more comfortable but I wanted it to be more grippy for raking and it isn’t. So it’s back to using my gloves that have grip on then and make it more comfortable.

Very easy to use. I used a hairdryer on a high heat setting. Nice comfy to use lock picks now!

Doesn't fit snugly

For me this tape is just far too wide for the Dangerfield pick sets and doesn't shrink enough to finish well, about two thirds of the supplied width would have been ideal
