There are two types because of the side of the tension arm and the markings on the pick. Experienced users can use them without the markings, and I would advise you to watch the VIDEOS BELOW to see how these picks can even open locks where the pin-spacing doesn't even match-up with the markings.
Also, where other manufacturers try to sell you a 5 and a 6 pin version, we know these picks work on both 5 and 6 pin locks, you just have to re-calibrate the way you use the pick - which you'll also see in the videos below.
REMEMBER: These picks are made for the extremely popular YALE 1A keyway. Not only do Yale use this profile, but so do many other brands, (as you'll see in the videos) as well as generic, and O.E.M. locks. So while it's a profile-specific tool, it's such a well used profile, these tools will provide so much bang for your buck, every locksmith should have at least one
